What do you mean by "set up a server connection"?  The "\\server" element MUST 
be the host name of the actual server machine, not a mapped drive.  There's 
nothing to "set up".  If you don't know this hostname, do a right-click on 
"Computer" in the Win7 start menu and look at Properties.
