Hi,

http://tracker.firebirdsql.org/browse/CORE-742
i do not need to spam tracker then i move discussion to group.

Please disscuss/vote on exception handling mechanism related to udf call.
I can only say that crashing engine becouse udf raise exception is wrong at all.
This mechanism can corrupt database in any also very little error like 1/0 and
others.

>>do you understand that each language, compiler and OS may implements
>>exceptions in its own unique way?
I make an assumption:
Engine understand error becouse it crash. If it understand error then it can
catch it.
If it not understand that udf raise exception then it go forward - but it not
go forward then it know that exception occure.
Is this assumption correct?

reagards,
Karol Bieniaszewski
