   For Firbird 3 CPU affinity has no point.

   You must detect where problem is before one can tell for sure whether it 
will be fixed 
or not. Start from inspecting MON$MEMORY_USAGE.
   In any case 3.0.4 has a lot of bugfixes so it is better to upgrade even if 
it cannot 
solve your memory problem.
