If the HTML is being changed dynamically then Firebug is going to update
itself to show you the new,
current HTML state. It would be a somewhat useless tool if it did not do
that :) Or am I misunderstanding
your problem?

Also it's helpful to include links to the websites ou are talking about when
you raise these issues in
mailing lists so that we get an idea of the issue.
