Sometimes when I edit the style of an element in the Style tab the size of the edit box becomes to wide and extends outside of the Style tab's frame. The only way for me to see the content of this over-sized edit box is to extend the width of the Style frame. To give you an example when the edit box might get this wide is in a background property:
background: url(http://domain.com/path/file.extension) black no repeat top left; So when I click to edit the background property the size of the edit box will become to big for me to see the end of the property's value. My suggestion is that the width of the edit box is limited to the width of the Style tab's viewport/frame. That way the entire edit box will never be outside of view. This should have been the behavior Firebug had from day one, but I guess it could have been easily over looked. This bug has been a real work-flow clog for me. The fact that I have to switch my hand from the keyboard to the mouse to resize the frame has been a bit annoying. (I'm not complaining, just letting you know why this bug is bad. :P) Has anyone else experienced this? -Firebug Version: 1.3.0 --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Firebug" group.
