Hm, I was using FB for quite some time in 3.1-3.5 and it was okayish
(I turned off the JIT manually, later I was able to turn it on again,
after some FB update). In the moment I use 3.5pre, the 64bit build is
the identical version. If I remember well the only real problem I had
with 1.4X were the XMLRequest-Issues (abortion).

Just to say I didn't suffer greatly from not-working per se. I also am
not really sure if someone is going to hunt the problem down, because
of the lack of 64bit OS and/or confidence in the 64bit build.
