I'm using firebug 1.5X.0a23 with Firefox 3.5.2 on Mac OS X (10.5.8, Leopard).
I usually open firebug in a separate window (I have a dual monitor setup). When I have the focus on the main browser window and press Cmd-Shift-C (for inspect) the selector rectangle shows up and then the focus jumps to the firebug window. Initially it looked like it was hung, but manually switching back to the main browser window (via Cmd-` or clicking on it) allows me to proceed to select the element I want to inspect. Steps to reproduce: 1. Enable firebug for a website. 2. Have firebug open in a new window. 3. On the website windows press Cmd-Shift-C. 4. The firebug windows becomes the active window. I think focus should stay with the main browser window. While not a show stopper, this is pretty irritating on a daily basis. Are other people noticing this as well? Please let me know if there are any workarounds, or if I should log a bug. cheers -- /A --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Firebug" group.
