The node that represents panel's content automatically uses a CSS
class name composed from panel's name (as described above). It's up to
the panel/extension if a rule for this class is actually defined.

Anyway, it's a bug that there is the scrollbar in case of disabled
panel. Please report it here

This is why we have this group :)

But notice that Firebug doesn't define any extension specific CSS
rules. The existing UI just uses classes allowing extensions to define
CSS rules.

Yes, there is never enough documentation, but we
are working on this and step by step improving what we have.

Notice that everybody is welcome to write an article about e.g. how to
extend Firebug.
