This is also happening for me. Using your test case under firebug 1.5.2, I see nothing in the console and the response headers are missing from the Net panel. Under the 'Response' tab in Net, I get this error: "Failed to load source for: http://www.janodvarko.cz/firebug/tests/601/process.php";
