I used to be able to inspect an element that had a :hover css selector. I'd click inspect, hover over the item (for example a link) and I'd see in the firebug style tab the css selector for :hover on that element and the properties applied to it. The cool thing was, I could then move my mouse down to the firebug style tab and manipulate that line of css. NOW that it's been updated, I can no longer do this, because as soon as I move my mouse away from the inspected item, the css style tab reverts to the relevant selector for the unhovered object.
I'm not sure if previously what I used was a bug feature, but it was extremely useful for tweaking image sprites and hover states of image sprites. Now I can no longer do this. One other feature you removed that bugs me, is I used to be able to double click the dom element like a div to edit the html in the dom. Now I have to right click and choose 'edit html' which is a pain in the bum. Can you update it back to the way it was? Or give me instructions on how to revert to the older firebug? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Firebug" group.
