OK, I had a look. Either of these two mozilla bugs would fix this:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=597872 or https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=620486 The second one might mess up a lot of things. A workaround is a bad idea, so we will just have to wait.
