This is more of a chrombug issue than Firebug. First of all there are no matching releases of Chrombug for 1.7.3 and 1.7.4. In addition chromebug seems broken. I will try to inspect the issue further and submit a bug report, but the information on the download webpage should be fixed as it is inaccurate as of today.
