Jan,

I am hoping you are still interested in trying to resolve this.

My FF 6.0 install has only Roboform Toolbar for Firefox v7.4.2,
Firebug 1.8.1, FBTrace 1.9b1, and FirePHP 0.6.1 (disabled) installed.
I've confirmed the problem goes away if I disable either Roboform or
Firebug.
As others have mentioned, this problem has existed at least since FF5
with various versions of RF and FB.

Here is a screencast of this problem that I sent to Roboform last
week:  http://youtu.be/rsZGuKNwlmY

Today, I created a simple webpage that contains only basic html and a
single link.

When I completely restart firefox with home page set to my simple
page, I see the following in FF Error Console, but nothing more
significant.

Warning: Duplicate resource declaration for 'moduleloader' ignored.
Source File: jar:file:///C:/Users/a0864742/AppData/Roaming/Mozilla/
Firefox/Profiles/lq3e0bn5.default/extensions/
[email protected]!/chrome.manifest
Line: 10

Error: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80040111
(NS_ERROR_NOT_AVAILABLE) [nsIDOMJSWindow.openDialog]"  nsresult:
"0x80040111 (NS_ERROR_NOT_AVAILABLE)"  location: "JS frame ::
jar:file:///C:/<myprofilepath>/extensions/[email protected]!/
components/commandLine.js :: <TOP_LEVEL> :: line 111"  data: no]
Source File: jar:file:///C:/<myprofilepath>/extensions/
[email protected]!/components/commandLine.js
Line: 111

When I right click on the link and 'Open Link in New Window', I a new
browser window opens, but there is no content.
The following errors are added in the FF Error console:

Error: this.browsers[i] is undefined
Source File: chrome://browser/content/tabbrowser.xml
Line: 328

Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure
code: 0x80070057 (NS_ERROR_ILLEGAL_VALUE)
[nsIObserverService.addObserver]"  nsresult: "0x80070057
(NS_ERROR_ILLEGAL_VALUE)"  location: "JS frame ::
chrome://browser/content/browser.js
:: prepareForStartup :: line 6820"  data: no]

FBTrace log is 800+ lines long, so I've appended only the tail below.
The FBTrace log included the second Error (see below), but not he
first (this.browser[i] undefined). If you want the full dump, contact
me directly since I don't see any way to add attachments to this post.

Please let me know if there is additional information I can provide.

Regards,
Eric
