Yeah, although F12 is a well know Firebug shortcut, unfortunately the
SHIFT+F12 shortcut for Firebug Lite in Firefox is not documented, mostly
because I thought people would use Firebug instead when using Firefox. I
just made this so I (and other Firebug Lite developers) can run both Firebug
and Firebug Lite in Firefox for debugging purposes, and for this case
pressing F12 would toggle both UIs which can be kind of annoying.

I'm already committed to work on Firebug 1.9 so I'm afraid I won't have time
to keep releasing new Firebug Lite versions for now. Even so, considering
that this is a annoying regression (the lack of the lower-right icon which
indicates that Firebug Lite was successfully loaded), I'll try to come up
with a 1.4.1 version to just address this problem in my spare time. But
that's the problem: I basically don't have spare time anymore. I'll see what
I can do.

In either case, keep posting the problems you find in Firebug Lite. And
thanks for taking your time to report this problem.

regards,

Pedro Simonetti.
