I am unsure if I understand the question properly, but... The inspector feature is actually changing the page by injecting HTML/ CSS. This is how Firebug inspector highlights elements on the page.

Do you mean to disable the Inspector so elements in the page are not highlighted as you move mouse over elements in the HTML panel?
