In your vmsite-ltr.css there is just this one style defined for the <div>with the class short-description. So the display is correct. You may want to enable *Show User Agent CSS*<http://getfirebug.com/wiki/index.php/Style_Side_Panel#Options_Menu>to see the styles coming from Firefox.
