As Honza already stated there it may be a conflict with another extension. So I advise you to follow the steps here<http://getfirebug.com/wiki/index.php/I_found_a_Firebug_Bug%21>and try to provide a reproducible test case. I do not see this using FF 12.0 + FB 1.9.2 on Win7.
