I have the Bookmarklet and the extension installed, and after having successfully used FireBug Lite for ages, it stopped working. Completely.
The only thing I think that I changed was trying to use Google Hangouts/Google Chat. Since then, neither Google Chrome, nor Safari for Mac allow Firebug Light to work.
