Is it still an issue? At least I can't reproduce this using FF 20.0.1 + FB
1.11.2 on Win7.

My steps:

   1. Opened Firebug at http://www.kalee-eversole.com/
   2. Switched to the *CSS* panel
   3. Clicked the *Source Edit* button having style.css selected
=> Firebug switched to Source Edit Mode.
   4. Entered an "a" inside the url() value of the background property
   inside the body rule
=> The page was still styled, the background of the header removed. (OK)
   5. Clicked the Source Edit button again to leave the Edit Mode
   6. Switched to Live Edit
   7. Clicked the Live Edit button
=> Firebug switched to Live Edit Mode.
   8. Removed the entered "a" again
=> The page was still styled, the background of the header appeared
   again. (OK)

If you still see this error, please provide steps to reproduce it.

Sebastian
