I have a bug with addons that use bottom panels, adblock does this as well,
but not firefox dev tools, I can't find anything on bugzilla...
Resizing the panel up and down will always keep the maximum size ever given.
Hard to explain but hopefully the screenshot (http://imgur.com/X86eRBj)
will help you understand what I mean.
Do you by chance know what would cause that ?
