Activate FireBug for 8080. Switch to 8983 and it is also active (this is unexpected). Deactivate it on 8983. Switch to 8080 and it is still active (this is expected and desired). Switch to 8983 and it is active again (this is unexpected). Every time you switch to 8080, Firebug reactivates for 8983.
