Firebug doesn't open immediately after browser start by default since 
version 1.10. You need to open it manually once before it gets opened 
automatically for all pages you activated it before.
You need to set the preference extensions.firebug.delayLoad 
<https://getfirebug.com/wiki/index.php/Firebug_Preferences#delayLoad> to 
false in order to let it open right after the browser start.
