Note that Firebug is a devtool used to debug websites. If you just want to 
remove ads and other elements from pages, you may have a look at AdBlock 
Plus <https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/>.

What do you mean by "click line by line"? Note that you can navigate with 
the arrow keys within the *HTML* panel 
<https://getfirebug.com/wiki/index.php/HTML_Panel>.
