Hi Birger, I suggest you try out the Firefox DevTools. They don't have this issue.
Note that Firebug won't work anymore once the multi-process Firefox gets shipped, but instead the Firefox DevTools will have an additional Firebug theme instead starting from Firefox 48. See the blog post I linked to in my previous mail for more info.
