Because the MP3 is on a different site, you need to enable the *Persist* option to keep the logged requests from the previous site.
Note that Firebug is going away. You should try out the Firefox DevTools <https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools>, which allow you to see the request as expected. Just press Ctrl+Shift+Q while you're at the page to open the DevTools *Network* panel.
