Yes, everything on getfirebug.com refers to the extension. As Firebug 3 is discontinued, there's no need to update the documentation for it. As the Firebug theme <https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/Settings#Choose_DevTools_theme> is part of the Firefox DevTools, all the features of the DevTools also apply to it. Therefore you should have a look at the Firefox DevTools documentation <https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools>.
As Firebug 2 doesn't work with multi-process Firefox <https://developer.mozilla.org/docs/Mozilla/Firefox/Multiprocess_Firefox>, I think the homepage of getfirebug.com should be updated to reflect that and people should be directed to the DevTools instead.
