To be precise, the option is called *Enable persistent logs <https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/Settings#Common_preferences>*. Bug 1312168 <https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1312168> asks to move the option to the Network and Console panels like in Firebug.
