It was just pointed out lately <https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1335853>, that this issue is related to the *Inspect Element with Firebug* option. Issue 8077 <https://github.com/firebug/firebug/issues/8077> was created to fix this (by removing the option).
Please use the *Inspect Element* option instead!
