Yes, as the homepage says <https://getfirebug.com/>, Firebug is officially discontinued. The Firebug.next extension got integrated into the DevTools as a theme for them. See also the related Mozilla Hacks blog post <https://hacks.mozilla.org/2016/12/firebug-lives-on-in-firefox-devtools/>.
