I know that when I use an FTP client from within the NAT, and access an
external FTP server,
all works with both active and passive provided the FTP server uses the
standard port 21.
I also think it works just fine for passive mode if the FTP server uses a
non-standard port.
I think it fails if in active mode if the FTP server uses a non-standard port.
I wonder if the guru's out there would:
1) Confirm or correct my observations;
2) Figure out how I can get to an FTP server using active when the server
uses a
non-standard port.
