Dear firewall smarties- We are looking into giving our users Internet based access to their email. One solution we have been considering is using the MS Outlook web interface for this. From what I have heard, all that is need is to allow port 80 and the port SSL uses through your firewall to one specific machine (ei. Exchange/IIS server). How dangerous is this type of solution. Does anyone else use this type of set up, if so how effective is it? Thanks in advance for any feedback.
