I want to save a server whith ADSM (Network Backup) witch is
connected at the side interface of the FW-1 firewall. The FW-1
translate the serveradress (NAT) to the secure and non-secure
Interface if the server initiate the connection (if i open a connection
from the secure Network, the FW-1 dosen't translate the adress).
There are two possible ways to backup the Server whith ADSM.
1. I add the NAT-adress of my server to the routingtables of my
inhouse routers.
2. I change the configuration of my FW-1, that the adress
will only be translated to the non-secure interface. (At this
time i don't know how to do it, but i know that ist is possible)
I prefere the second way, because i don't want to have long
routingtables. My Question is, witch way is the safe one???
Thank's for answering,
HP
