I have already downloaded this product for trial. I haven't had much luck in
getting it to work. Here is my setup:

hosts:
A (outside the firewall) on the Internet
B (the firewall-1 hos) doing NAT and having related static
routing entries for both networks
C (inside the firewall on private ip network 192.168.1.yyy)

A sends syslog messages to C
B is setup with the following rule:
        A => C => syslog(udp) => accept => log

C has got SL4NT 1.1 installed on it and configured to log syslog entries to
NT's event viewer

B's log entries show the syslog packets from A to C are accepted, but SL4NT
never logs these into NT's event viewer as it is supposed to do. Tried the
same after configuration of SL4NT to log to a file instead of NT's event
viewer. No files created.

How do I find whether SL4NT is causing the problem or the firewall-1 host
assuming that I have no sniffing tools for watching the traffic on the
network segment?

Regards,

Adel
