Can anyone tell me the communication process and FW requirements between
trusted domains over a WAN and the resources available within the trusting
domain?

Does all the communication travel through the domain controllers who in
turn communicate back to the clients or is it that after the authentication
is completed, communication then only flows between the client and resource?

If the latter is true, then would I also need to open up a hole through my
FW to allow access from remote clients to that resource above and beyond
what I would need for the PDC's to talk with each other?

Thanks in advance,

JQ
