DHCP Client uses UDP Port 67 for the request to IP and other information & DHCP Server
makes the offer at UDP port 68. If you have more than one DHCP Server on your Network
then the offer that the client accepts is the first offer i.e. whichever server
responds first.

Does anyone know which ports and protocols are used in the DHCP process?
If it matters we are running microsoft dhcp server. Even a reference to
a place that I could find this info would be great.

Thanks for the help,
