httptunnel encapsulates a bidirectional data path in base-64 encoded
HTTP GET/PUT messages. check out
http://www.nocrew.org/software/httptunnel.html
a true information hiding technique would make this much harder to detect
(say, if you only leaked 8 bytes each message in encrypted HTTP cookies,
or in JPEG comments, or using real steganography). you could even defeat
traffic analysis if you were really careful about it.
