I realize Squid and Harvest and BorderManager are all GREAT solutions for
web proxying (I have used them) but I am only evaluating 2 products
now:
MS Proxy vs. CSM Proxy.
I will let you all know the results of what I find out if you like. Right
now CSM is the heavy favorite because it appears to be MUCH able to handle
the capacity I am needing (they suggest 1/2 MB per user which means the 2
gigs I was going to put in said box is double what I need for my current
internet user base). Apparently Compaq uses CSM for about 15000 users.
