I agree with you.  It was the same for me when I was a consultant.  Most
of our customers preferred to deal with those they already trusted.  For
example, once I was asked to design and write a medical billing system
in spite of the fact that I knew absolutely nothing about medical billing
systems.  I finished the project on time and on budget.  The billing system
was used without problems until the PDP-11 was replaced with another computer
several years later after the medical practice was sold.

Anyway, please attribute the quotes correctly.
