Hi,

We're offering solutions both on CheckPoint Firewall-1 and IBM e-Network
firewall for nearly 3 years. In my opinion. IBM e-network firewall is more
harder to configure if you want something different from what is giwn
although given services list is sometimes more than enough) but you gain
the privilege to inmtevene every packet's behaviour and aiming more at
larger firms trying to implemet a security policy.

Although Firewall-1 is very easy to configure one can not controle
everything since stateful-inspection is a bleckbox and aiming much more
giving unlimited access to the internet from intranet but limiting incoming
requests by dfault and a lot of checkbox style predefined rules.. It is not
always easy to intervene everything. Of cource it is also possible to limit
access from inside too with a bit more work..

Best Regards,
Kerem ERSOY
