Since these ratings involved exclusion of any NETWORKING component, and
since the whole point of firewalls is to implement security policy in a
NETWORKING context, I am not convinced that this fact contributes much to
this particular discussion. Unless, that is, it is coupled to evidence that
NT-based firewall products use none of the networking components supplied
with the OS -- which I will grant is possible, whatever we choose to believe
about its likelihood.
