If you are planning to use the remote console utility in sms, at a min you
should:
1 - Notify Management of the potential danger of abuse.
2 - Let management decide on how it will be used.
ie : which mode to use for rcu, User confirmation, Remote control icon or
blanket access
I tend to setup executive management to require user confitrmation. the remote
control icon were it is acceptable to use and never setup blanket access. Only
authorized admins should have access to the utility and you should setup a
collection to make sure the policy is maintained and not modified as time goes
on.
I have not had a chance to look at SMS 2.0 yet. It may have been changed to
allow other options.
