Simple answer :-) the number after the '/' is simply the number of
bits in the netmask (aka as prefix length)

172.168.10.0/24 means subnet 172.168.10.0 with netmask 255.255.255.0 (3 octets with
        255 => 3*8 = 24 of prefix length)
172.16.51.50/32 means hosts address 172.16.51.50 (32 bits are used)
