I'm familiar with the firewall setup of having an exterior route, a DMZ and an interior router. Where do things like "Firewall-1" and "Gauntlet" fit into this? From reading the posts, it seems that it functions as part of the DMZ (like some proxy services) and (at least part of) the interior router. Chapman's Firewalls book recommends that you don't combine these two.
