There is a how to on using the NT loader for a linux/NT dual boot, it should be fairly
easy to find. I use this method very successfully at home. The long and short of it
is to strip off the boot sector from the Linux partition using the dd command, stick
it on a floppy or fat partition and then point an entry in the NT boot.ini to it. The
hassle is remembering to update it if you recompile your kernel and knowing that if
you ever run LILO it will overwrite the NT Loader and you will need those NT emergency
disks you made....you did make them, right??

Hi,
My O'Reilly "Running Linux" (which I recommend highly) says...
Install LILO as the second boot loader.
It may be easier to just use a boot floppy to boot Linux.
I think a workable technique is to set up a NT/(MSDOS or '95) dual boot,
then install Linux into the (DOS) partition. You'll need to use the Linux
fdisk to set the partition types for Linux and its swap. Note that to get
Linux to boot, its first partition must be before cylinder 1024 so you may
end up with an unusual partition structure.
Cheers,
Andrew
