This is not a Firewalls topic at all, so first I gave an off-list answer. But as again there is a similar question for NT now I may present this besides the already given answers by others: (*) Check <http://metalab.unc.edu/LDP/>, <http://www.linux.com/> and many others for more about Linux. You will find HOWTOs at <http://metalab.unc.edu/LDP/HOWTO> as HTML and <ftp://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/docs/HOWTO> as download files. (DOS, Win3.x, Win9x) With Linux you can choose -starting DOS/Win3.x/Win9x -> use 'loadlin.exe' to start Linux -starting LILO-Bootmanager to choose OS -> install LILO to MBR With using LILO as Bootmanager you need to have all startup-files reside below 1024 cylinders on your harddisk. That should be the only restriction to you. There is a special LILO mini-HOWTO, by Alessandro Rubini <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, "Examples of typical LILO installations." v2.02, 16 August 1998 or later. Linux+Win95 mini-HOWTO, by Jonathan Katz <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. "How to use Linux and Windows95 together." October 26, 1996 or later. (OS2) Linux+DOS+Win95+OS2 mini-HOWTO, by Mike Harlan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. "How to use Linux and DOS and OS/2 and Win95 together" v1.3.1, 11 November 1997 or later. (NT 4.0) NT likes to have it's own bootloader and you still may be able to only read NTFS from Linux. You may need <http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/gvollant/bootpart.htm> to download the bootpart-program in addition. Linux+NT-Loader mini-HOWTO, by Bernd Reichert <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. "How to use Linux and the Windows NT boot loader together." v1.11, 2 September 1997 o.l. (*) In addition to the above you will have the possibility to use a certain floppy to boot Linux besides some other OS. For safety reasons you should have this floppy ready as backdrop to every configuration you choose. (**) For further questions on this topic you may try the many well established Linux news-groups or mailing lists. :-) Hope that helps.
