Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. It was pretty simple -- because
of other errors (I guess I should have mentioned that other weirdness is
going on with the firewall, such as Dr. Watson coming up every five to
fifteen minutes), I had completely purged the routing table and
policies. When I started rebuilding, I missed a few things -- in this
case, some routing entries. For some reason I didn't catch this until I
deleted everything again and started over again. I think I was just too
stressed out from the other firewall issues (which will get resolved as
soon as the company that bought the company that we bought FW-1 from
figures out where our support contract went so they can transfer our
contract to yet another company to give us support).
