Windows and NT by default don't route, but since your local LAN isn't going
to havean externally visible route through your PC that's not the concern
I have.  I'm more worried about someone slipping an exploit like BackOrifice
into your box while you're online.

As has been mentioned, internal firewalls bundled with the VPN should resolve
that (until people come up with exploits for them).
