According to the (ISC)2 program director, some exam sessions have had as
little as 10% pass and some as many as 80% pass. The passing grade is based
on a minimum competency "cut-score" so the passage rate varies considerably
from session to session.
I don't have any stats on the retests but do know you can only take the
examine once per test period and there are only two test periods per year.
