The problem may be with the way Notes solves the relay problem. When you
add the SMTPMTA_REJECT_RELAYS=1 command to the notes.ini, Notes will still
accept the inbound email that is to be relayed. The message is then
rejected and a reply is sent to the originator stating that the MTA doesn't
allow relaying. If your ISP is using some automated tool to check for
relays he may be seeing the message accepted, but not getting the resulting
"reject" message.
