Proxies

This is sort of firewall related. I need to install proxies on our servers
for the following:
Real Audio/Video
CompuServ
IRC
Telnet
AOL Instant Messenger
ICQ
FTP

I haven't a clue on how to even start. Any pointers would be greatly
appreciated. Someone suggested I use FWTK. Is that a good idea? and if so
how is it used?
